The Roma Economic Development Corporation has partnered up with The Retail Coach, a retail recruiting consulting firm, to bring potential investors up to date data on demographics, psychographics, and available property. The dashboard allows visitors to get the information they need for their businesses.
The Roma Economic Development Corporation (EDC) was created by the voters in 1995 to enhance the quality of life in Roma by advancing the investment, development, growth and relocation of companies within the area. The early role of the Roma EDC was to generate revenue to improve infrastructure throughout the city, including massive overhauls of the water and wastewater sytems. Over the years, the Roma EDC has evolved into an important funding source for projects driving economic and community development including land acquisition for the Roma Fire Department and the Roma Transit Station, redevelopment initiatives in the historic district, and multiple park improvements.
