Pre-Bid Conference:

A Virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 10:00 A.M.. All interested bidders will receive a Zoom link from the project engineer. This conference is an excellent opportunity to ask questions, review project details, and clarify any concerns about the bidding process.

Bid Submission Instructions:

To be considered, all bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes or packages clearly marked with:

Bidder's Name and Address in the upper left corner
RFB # ENG 24.048 and Project Title in the lower left corner

Sealed bids must include two (2) original sets of all required documents, including applicable bonds, and must be submitted to:

Bid Security:

Each bid must be accompanied by a 5% bid security based on the largest possible total of bids submitted. The bid security must come from a surety company acceptable to the City of Roma.

Deadline for Bid Submission:

Bids will be accepted until 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 25, 2024. Bids received after this deadline will not be opened and will be returned to the sender unopened. Faxed or emailed submissions will not be accepted.

Bid Opening:

The bid opening will occur at the City of Roma Conference Room, located at 201 Convent Avenue, Roma, TX 78584, immediately after the submission deadline. The City of Roma reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, waive formalities, and select the bid that is deemed most advantageous to the City. Submitted bids will remain valid for 60 calendar days without action.
