Public Works encompasses a variety of department that are essential for the function of an orderly City. Public Works includes the maintenance of all streets and public grounds within the city. A small crew works diligently to maintain 96 miles of street and an extensive network of city owned properties and right of way.
Public Utilities include the Water Treatment Plant, Water Distribution, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Waste Water Collection, Gas, Garbage and Brush Pickup, Landfill, Storm Drainage, and Public Grounds.
